Just so that last emo post isn't the first thing people on my flist read, on happier news I have been with my girlfriend Jess for over a month now, and my family adores her.

For my friends at home who didn't know about Jess, sorry I was waiting to tell you in person, but I figured I'd at least show that for every negative thing in my life, there are quite a few positives to tip the scale. You'll all have to meet her over break.
