I swear, cover letters have to be the most contradictory impossible to write pieces of BS I've ever encountered, and I went to a Liberal Arts college.

Yeah but I don't think you're supposed to tell them that you need money to live. I think you're supposed to tell them how special they are and how much you admire their products/work ethic/stance on African swallows, and then beg for a job.

Sometimes I'm tempted to write it in crayon.
