Okay Ladies and Gents, I'd just like to let you all know that a certain Matt Meylikhov will be having a book printed in the next week or so (assuming of course he approves the copy they sent him).
Now you may ask why I am writing this? Why not wait until Matt announces how to purchase said book? Well because all good books should have taglines from trusted sources (you do trust me, right?) endorsing it.
I would just like to say that I have read the entire story, and that I find it a very interesting read. The story, while occasionally confusing, and very dark at points, is also a very human story. The main character deals with real issues in a way that seems realistic (from the perspective of someone whose grand experience with the issues is a couple psychology courses and his own time with therapists).
I recommend that when Matt tells us how to purchase the book you all buy it and give it a read. Normally I prefer my fiction of a lighter kind, however, I really did enjoy this story, and not just because Matt is my friend. It is an interesting story, and while I'm sure it won't be everyones cup of tea (what is?) I still recommend it.
Also Matt, thanks to this I have to throw out all those jokes about English being a useless major. You bastard.
In an unrelated note: Thank you everyone who worked their assess off on the D&D movie (even those we ambushed and forced to help us) you guys are great. Also, if we win we have to make sure Matt gets one of the tickets there, to pay him back for all the blood he spilled over this (and that other blood we borrowed when he was sleeping).
Rob and Geoff also deserve to go if only for putting up with my crap, and luckily Rob has given up his seat so those two don't have to have a cage match...yet...
Finally, I'm only here till a week from this Saturday, and I will be gone this weekend at Prudence Island, so hopefully I'll see you all before I go.
